My name is Jodi Parkes-Forestell, owner and operator of Parkes Images Photography.
Photography, always my passion, led me first to complete a co-operative course in high school where I mentored at Lee Paterson Photography, and afterwards to study my craft at Niagara College. In 2002, I began shooting weddings for friends and family. In 2005, Parkes Images Photography officially launched.
I joined Professional Photographers of Canada in 2009 and was accredited soon after achieving my LPPO status. I continue to learn and grow as a professional photographer, collaborating at seminars with PPOC colleagues.
A more fluid style of photography is my preference rather than the standard staged portraiture. I love to let situations happen naturally and witness the beauty in a moment. It happens so quickly it's a great feeling to know that I have captured it forever. I often get so excited that I can't wait to show the bridal couple the beautiful images from their day. My goal is to capture the true emotion, grace and spirit of my clients' wedding day. Photography is what I love to do and I believe it shows in my work.
